AWEX proud sponsor of the first mobile moviemaker festival in SA06/03/2021

The South African offices of the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) and Wallonia Brussels International (WBI) proudly co-sponsored the very first edition of the Mobile Moviemakers Cape Town Film Festival (MMOCA) – also the first of its kind in Southern Africa !

MMOCA is an initiative of the Belgian Chamber of Commerce for Southern Africa (BCCSA), aiming to showcase, nurture and support emerging creative filmmakers who use the latest technology available from a mobile device (smartphone, tablet, action camera or drone) to create stories in a cinematic way.

AWEX and WBI co-sponsored the Best Fiction Film Award at the MMOCA. Congratulations to the young, promising and talented South African filmmaker Bulenani Klaas for this award.
